PROPER CHANCE – International Project Meeting in Dresden

In August, the second meeting of the partners in the transfer of innovation project "PROPER CHANCE" took place in Dresden. Guests from Belgium and Italy visited AFBB to continue their joint work in order to complete the first project results and to discuss all further proceedings.

The meeting focused on the presentation of the learning outcome descriptions and comparisons of professions in the field of health and social care according to the ECVET principles. AFBB presented the professions of "Geriatric Nurse" and "Social Care Assistant" and illustrated the equivalent contents of the two qualifications. The main objective is to provide transparency and permeability between the two professions and to lay the foundations for international mobility of learners in this field.

Further topics, which were discussed by the project partners, were the details of a "Memorandum of Understanding", which will define the framework of the cooperation of the institutions in the field of recognition of learning outcomes, the assessment standards which are an important element of this as well as the transfer of qualification modules as extra qualifications of the included professions.
